I was immediately impressed with the design and quality and decided this light would be the perfect headlight for this very unique car. Why? … Because the original (OEM) Headlights for vintage cars are just not bright enough for modern night driving and our 70+ MPH speed limits.
All new cars employ the latest in headlight technology and the old vintage bulbs are like candles compared to them. RedLine LumTronix brings things up to date by putting the focus prisims on the reflector instead of in the lens, which provides much more light. They also feature an interchangeable, off-the-shelf bulb that can be found at any automotive store so their headlights never need to be thrown away, you just replace the bulb if it burns out. Halogen, Xenon, LED, Plasma or HID are all bulbs that are compatible with these lights and allows the user to choose the brightness they desire.
Another unique feature is the Halo ring that acts as a Daylight Running Light (DLR), and has a huge cool factor. Just like modern cars that employ a halo style light, the Redline LumTronix light puts off a cool bright light that cuts very well through the sunlight. And because their headlight has a side lens, it produces a much-needed night time side light. The OEM lights don’t even have this. Another feature that Redline has over OEM lights is that the OEM’s don’t have the ability to change the color of the halo lights with a wireless remote to match or contrast the color of the car. Very cool stuff indeed!
